'Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom' Trailer OUT! Jason Momoa’s King of Atlantis Clashes With The Black Trident-Wielding Black Manta-WATCH
Jason Momoa’s Aquaman teams up with his Atlantean half-brother Orm Marius to take on Yahya Abdul-Mateen II’s Black Manta. The two will mobilize an army to protect the underwater kingdoms from the vindictive Black Trident-wielding villain - Black Manta and DC has finally dropped the much-anticipated trailer on Thursday night.

The 2 minutes and 46 seconds long trailer shows Jason Momoa’s Aquaman aka Arthur Curry talking about his journey of becoming Aquaman and the King of Atlantis from being a jobless, homeless wanderer. The glimpse into the film also introduces Yahya Abdul-Mateen II’s Black Manta, who aims to avenge his father’s death by talking down Aquaman once and for all. Interestingly, DC appears to be getting serious as the film establishes Manta wielding one of DC’s powerful mythic Black Trident, which unleashes an ancient and malevolent force. However, in order to take him down, Aquaman turns to his imprisoned brother Patrick Wilson’s Orm Marius, the former King of Atlantis.

As they engage in a fierce battle, Arthur’s family living on the surface is also drawn into this conflict as they come under attack by the menacing underwater creatures. Although, to everyone’s surprise, Amber Heard’s Mira aka the Queen of Atlantis and the wife of Aquaman, is missing from the trailer, and it has sparked a slew of questions among the fans and netizens equally.
